Intellectual Property Enforcement

We assist to ensure the rights of IP owners are legitimately enforced to stop unauthorized use, deter future infringements and to obtain recovery for damages.

In most cases, intellectual property enforcement starts with a research and investigation to find out the nature, scope and level of any possible infringement and to collect evidence of infringement to determine whether to proceed with enforcement actions, law suit or Cease and Desist letter.
 
Intellectual property enforcement system in China may be very different to that in many other countries. The system is divided into three strands comprising administrative, judicial and civil protection. Each strand concerns particular governmental bodies, which carry out intellectual property enforcement actions by way of the single strand of approach they deal with.
 
Upon due research and investigation findings and definitive instructions from intellectual property owners, we facilitate intellectual property enforcement on behalf of intellectual property owners through but not limited to the following works:

• Preparation and submission of complaint documents
• Provision of evidentiary findings and certifications concerning infringement of rights
• Coordination of enforcement site, date and time
• Participation in and witness of enforcement
• Full record of enforcement progress and result
• Follow-up of enforcement result and penalty documents
• Suggestion or/and appeal on penalty decisions
